THE OTHER SIDE OF CANNABIS
This award-winning documentary contains interviews with youth, parents and adults in recovery whose lives were negatively impacted by this drug. Researchers and professionals will increase your understanding of today’s marijuana.
This film is geared to youth, educators, medical and health professionals, counselors and media, in addition to recovery/treatment center programs, behavioral health departments, law enforcement, and others who influence our youth. The film is not about legalization nor medicinal marijuana treatments.
THE FIRST DAY
Chris Herren, former NBA basketball player, author and wellness advocate, has shared his story of recovery with over 1 million people nationwide. The First Day film chronicles this journey revealing Herren’s vulnerability and his profound connections with high school students who, in turn, have shared their stories of struggle and strength. Through the power of storytelling, The First Day addresses issues that school systems, communities and people across the country are impacted each day, directly or indirectly, by including substance use, other harmful behaviors and mental wellness.
